Comments from the parents:-

“We are so very happy how our daughter has settled in Eastling. Thank you so much for your help when we moved her here last summer. She really enjoys school now.”

“We are very pleased with our son’s progress at Eastling and he is happy and settled. We are particularly thankful now that the school runs a Morning Club which is absolutely invaluable to us as working parents. We would gladly pay more to ensure the continuation. Overall we feel very positive about Eastling School.”

“My children are making excellent progress and love coming to school every day.”

“My son is always really happy to come to school and enjoys learning. We are happy with his progress especially how his reading has improved.”

“My daughter loves school and gushes about what she gets up to. Split Yr group are a concern but we don’t see a solution for such a small school.”

“My son has loved coming to school since the day he started. He is always really excited and keen to share everything he has been learning so happy with how well he's doing thanks to Miss Waugh and Mrs Taverner.”

“Thank you for allowing the children at Eastling to have a full fun hands on experience at school to enable them to have a childhood as well as an education.”

“Very happy with how my child is progressing at Eastling both socially and academically. She always looks forward to school and I am impressed with the range of topics and activities she gets to experience and enjoy.”

“Thank you for the lovely trips and experiences the children have had. It is a lovely school.”

Parents expressed some concerns:-

“Both children are happy but I do feel like it’s always the same children who excel get noticed and ones that need a little more confidence boosting get less help. I know it’s the same at other schools but with new OFSTED guidelines focussing on children’s well-being and their improvement rather than just grades, so this will change.”

“Bullying unsure how to answer. All OK with my son at the moment but he tells me that the child he had problems with has just moved on to being horrible to others.”
