Head Teacher's Letter
16th September 2020
Thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented times. The children have settled quickly back into school life and the new routines which we have in place. I would like to firstly thank you for supporting the staggered drop off and pick up times for our bubbles. We may need to alter these current arrangements when the weather changes as the field will not be suitable. I will of course inform you of any changes that we need to make.
There are some children in Willow and Oak classes that are not arriving at the allocated time of 8.50am. It is important that these 2 classes are on time as it causes an issue for Silver Birch class in the corridor. Could you please ensure that you are prompt in the mornings? This does exclude those children who arrive by bus. It is also important that the children only mix with their siblings or other children within their bubbles before school begins on the field.
Please take time to look at the school website which has a Covid page in the parent section with information and links for anyone that has concerns regarding their child’s health and the action they should take.
Our new Reception children and those who have joined Eastling Primary School have settled in smoothly. It is lovely to welcome new families into our school community. There will be opportunities in the future for you to meet and hopefully join our wonderful Friends of Eastling School (FOES).
There are still spaces in all of the after school clubs, many which are run free of charge. The school is delighted to be working with Charlton Athletic this year and the sports club on Tuesday is available for Oak and Willow classes. If you would like further information contact Mrs Travers firstname.lastname@example.org.
