Design and Technology in Action
Year 6 made doodlers using a motor and a series circuit. The Acorn children were the target market and they really enjoyed using them!
Birch Class enjoying A Roots to Food Cookery Lesson
This week acorns celebrated harvest festival. Our home corner was transformed into a fruit and vegetable farm shop where we used the scales to weigh different fruit and veg. At the end of the week we used all of the vegetables to make a delicious soup.
Acorns followed a recipe to make shortbread biscuits after learning about Scotland.
