Maple and Birch Class trip to a Chinese Restaurant. As part of our learning comparing Faversham to Shanghai, and to celebrate Chinese New Year, we visited a Chinese restaurant to compare traditional Chinese food to traditional English food. We explored chopsticks and discussed whether we could grow rice in our climate.
Acorns have been looking at aerial view maps. We looked at an aerial view map of Eastling and identified the church, the pub, and our school. We then used the map to help us plan our nature walk. Lots of children went home and looked at aerial view maps of their homes too.
